I’ll say this: just because something was common doesn’t mean we shouldn’t acknowledge it as wrong.

We do generally look harshly upon historical figures for act that were common then but generally considered immoral.

The Roman emperors aren’t exactly held in high esteem for their morality.

Let me ask you, how does acknowledging their wrong erase history more than ignoring them?

You absolutely can’t remove Washington from history and I am have said I hold Him in pretty high regard. I don’t Put a statue of Washington in the same realm as Lee or even Calhoun.

That’s being said the side that keeps harping on erasing history is the side that’s defending this whitewashed version of history.

You can’t rant about how far we’ve come as a country and tell everyone who doesn’t like it to leave.

We didn’t come this far as a cpu try because people who didn’t like it left.

And I love say this. I’m a proud American. I think We get most things right. I don’t See anything wrong with America that can’t be fixed by what’s right with America.
