Was asked what he thought of what Miles said about beating teams from LA, he said that he was right. Then went on to make an analogy with "saving private ryan". I see a boxing match on the fifty yard line come game time between miles and saban!!!!

What was the analogy? After the 9/11 comment I thought he might rein it in a bit.

Nov 8 can't get here fast enough, can't wait to be in Tiger Stadium for that one. I hope Les keeps up the pressure and totally destroys them

He also said, "We are there to help the players"

They do need help!

"We just need to do, what we do, BETTER!

Keep them out of jail!

i think Saban got his Tom Hanks movies mixed up. He meant to say "relative to Forrest Gump, Bama is like a box of chocolates, in terms of not knowing what you get until you get here and begin the process of making these gumps understand that it is going to take time to build a foundation relative to where we are and what we need to do to be able to compete in terms of the elite programs like the LSU that I created by the way."

I thought Saban didn't create LSU, LSU creates coaches right?

What you think is right. What Saban thinks, on the other hand....

The poster was creating a hypothetical quote for the Nickster. They got remedial reading comprehension there in 'Bama?

Anybody who thinks we are the program we are today without Lil' Nicky is still just pissed at him for being at Bama. LSU was great at one time before Nick but he made us what we knew we always could be and Les has stepped THAT up one more notch.
