the film is a far more uplifting story than the crucifixion.

Really? It's hard to believe anything is more uplifting than a good crucifixion story.

Hollywood's been moving away from Polanski (finally) over the past couple of decades. I think The Pianist was his last big film backed by a Hollywood studio. He's been doing stuff for European companies since then. And they stopped having him pop up in American films in cameos. I think Rush Hour 3 was his only pop-in for an American film in the past 20 years.

Though it was (semi) historical, he was portrayed in a pretty prominent and romanticized role in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood just last year.

Kind of hard to do a Sharon Tate movie and not have Polanski as at least a background character. If the character had two lines I’d be surprised.

Get the Gringo.

Basically it's his character from Payback, which is awesome.

Yeah that movie is fun as crap.

As you say, it's Payback in Mexico.

Like Bourne or Wick, he should've done more of that character to make it an easy money-making franchise.

On the tapes, Gibson repeatedly refers to Grigorieva as a "whore," "c--t" and "b----h," the Web site says.

One thing is for sure, NOBODY on this board has ever used that kind of language.
