It's not out of the realm of possibilities to be attacked by an eagle, but you don't hear people talking about being afraid of eagles while walking through the woods. Of all the things that could harm you in the woods, coyotes are wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy down the list. It's silly to be afraid of coyotes past puberty.
