The worst for me was hunting in a brush blind in south Texas.. I got in the blind to bow hunt about an hour before daylight.. right when you can barely see I hear something coming through the brush..It was 3 Mexicans with duffel bags and ak's walking right toward me. 20 yards out they turned and crossed the road I was huntin..
I've walked up on all kinds of animals in the dark and I've never been spooked.. only thing I'm worried about is other humans..

Steve Isdahl has some really good stories on You tube. Look up How to Hunt.
Hunting up in Canada and Alaska he has some really good first hand experiences hunting and guiding.
