It is if you’re in the stand, not when you’re on the ground walking in the dark on a dirt road about 12’ wide when there’s definitely hogs running around out there.
Hard to put a lot of rounds through the barrel of the bolt-action 270 in the scenario of running into a pack of hogs. I’d have rather had my AR.

This is why I always carry a side arm while hunting. I can discharge every round in the glock a hell of a lot faster than I could even semi accurately run through 3 rounds of the deer rifle.
To answer OP, right at one of the entrances of my lease there is an old abandoned house. It feels like someone is watching me every time I’m there at 4:30 am unlocking the gate to get in. I’m going to suggest we burn it down this summer.
