We are looking in Terry Harbor right now. Possibly one of the dockaminiums in Kings Point. Only concern with those is not being able to sell it when the time comes to move on to a camp.

Would I be wrong in thinking that if we built a camp up on pilings on Swamp Drive that unless a crazy large flood came we should be good? I am thinking of doing 3br 2bath camp on pilings with 2 boat slips. If we do that I think that is all we will ever need size wise.

This is the link to the gauge close to Tin Lizzy's.

LINK

It says the record high flood was at 8.16 ft...that was Isaac...In reality it was 2016 and hit a hair over 10 ft by my calculations(and the 16 inches of water in my place). The gauge malfunctioned at some point during the flood in 2016.

Go to your prospective property...look at the water...look at the gauge reading and imagine what the water would be at 10 ft. i.e. If the gauge says 2 feet imagine what it would be 8 ft higher.

Then build higher.
