Not really. On a weeknight I go short time and high heat with indirect grilling.

Light coals and place to one side of the grill. Soak some wood chips and add on top. Place seasoned ribs on the cool side.

Let go for about an hour - hour and 15 minutes. Sauce up and go for about 10 minutes.

Flavorful and tender without all the time.

Quickest I've been able to do ribs is about 2 hrs. I don't mind a quicker cook because I like mine a little more chewy anyway. Most people think that ribs have to fall of the bone to be good. They've been brainwashed by the "TJ Ribs" products.
