You can never have too many good lineman. Some defensive linemen end up being converted into successful offensive lineman anyway.
Also, we always lose a few through attrition, so you constantly have to restock the cupboard.

I doubt he’s a legit 6-8, but he has elite athleticism and closing speed...especially for his size.
Ali Gaye is heavier and a really good athlete for his size, but this kid is even quicker and more athletic.

What’s confusing, is there is a 25 man hard cap on recruiting classes so you can actually take too many players at a position. If they take this guy, then stay on course for what they expect to land this year that will be 8 DE in 2 seasons. That makes no sense, especially with huge needs at OL, WR, S and LB (which we have now lost 6 guys in one year)
