As much as fans don't understand the constant remakes...I don't see any studio stopping at making remakes until they stop bringing in revenue

Since it's a new movie in the same universe, and not some braindead remake, I don't see a problem with this.

Remakes = less money spent on writers.
All female remakes will go over well if the actresses are hot.
