i just started watching his video and it gives me hope. i feel like i do some things a lot better than he does (putting being the biggest) however his scores are much better then my own.

Years ago I played with several mini tour guys and I watched them work their way around the course, it really made an impression.
The one thing that I took away was how several of these guys played the par 4s.
One guy in particular always hit off the tee whatever club it took to get him to a comfortable yardage for his approach. He was very comfortable hitting a 125-130 yard shot into a green.
I try to do the same now. I rather take a full swing with a PW at 120 yards then trying to take something off a wedge at 75.

Bc he is on the green in regulation trying to make 20+ footers for birdie most of the time.
You are draining 5-10 footers to save double bogey

I dk man, while he doesn't drain many outside 15 feet, when's the last time you saw him miss a 6 footer?
