This is a bit disingenuous. First of all, the term is relatively new and was specifically coined to describe a previously considered mysterious phenomenon where death unexpectedly resulted from restraint In cases where arrestees where acting delirious and uncontrollable on drugs with excessive heart rates, etc. Secondly, if a person died from the symptoms while not being restrained, it is just diagnosed as an OD, or a cardiac event.

Well part of this is true. The second paragraph is just made up. There wasn’t enough fentanyl in Floyd’s system for an overdose. As is the case in many deaths from excited delirium.

His actions seem to fit a felony murder charge.

He explained that there is an approved tactic by that police force that allows for his actions. Which seemed to be true but not in the way he used it to my understanding. Also believed he had a heart attack which could have caused his death. Listen for yourself it’s not my research or beliefs. Like I said I don’t think there’s anyway he walks.

Minneapolis police were allowed to put a knee of the neck of someone who was actively resisting but Floyd clearly wasn't.

I agree 100%. That’s a pretty barbaric tactic in my opinion.

In 2012, MPD killed a guy in a YMCA through prone restraint asphyxia. They changed their procedures. They were to turn detainees on their side as soon as possible rather than keeping them in the prone position.

There’s no excuse from a procedural point of view for Chauvin’s actions.

Chauvin did nothing wrong.

Prove intent. Prove malice.

You can stand for something without letting murderers walk.
