He was forced into a Covid test today
He was told if he continued to refuse the test he would be in “forced isolated” in his room
He took it so hopefully he is negative
He can at least walk until the results come in

If he is a symptomatic positive he will be moved & not allowed to walk & not allowed a phone
His biggest thing is he can walk, when he can’t is when he will die
He says if they quarantine him he won’t make it a week

It’s terrible what those people are going through basically because they are skating by with limited staff, they can’t keep anyone more than a few days, they have sign on bonuses & aren’t getting any bites
The admin staff has gone above & beyond their job duties trying their best

I know I bitch, I know he’s in a good place but no one takes care of family like you think they should

Oh absolutely no one takes care of your person as you think they should. And the staff gets it I promise. Know that the majority do their absolute best.

I pray he remains negative. Our people from what I’m told still eat in their room, do therapy in their room and do one on one activities in their room. What a life. Ugh. Some wander out of their room and are directed back. It’s really a sad situation.

Did you ever get an answer to why staff can get food delivered but your grandfather can’t?? Makes zero sense.
