Absolutely. I'm a San Antonian. Was a Spurs fan before Pop arrived, and will be one long after he retires. It really wasn't a secret among locals that Pop is a lefty, he just wasn't as vocal about it until his professional legacy was secured, so the rest of the country is now just finding out
He wasn't chirping so much about politics when he came within a game of being fired 20+ years ago I just lump him in with any other professional entertainers/celebs--i just assume they're left wing unless they state otherwise. Either way, I can divorce their personal views from my enjoyment of their talent.
