Registration for tickets for the event was an email harvesting project by the Trump campaign, thus there was no limit to the number of tickets offered for registration. However, there was no assigned seating, no indication to the registrant at the time of registration as to the of tickets that had been registered, but there was an indication that entry and seating would both be first-come, first-serve. which explains the people camping out a couple of days ahead of time.

Which is all to say that while the K-pop people may have inflated the demand expectations of the Trump campaign for attendance, they didn't stop anyone from obtaining a ticket, they didn't stop anyone from showing up; they didn't stop anyone from getting in. Demand for entry was what we saw. Anyhow, 6,000 people attending a rally for an incumbent President in the middle of a pandemic is a lot.

Your beef is with the campaign manager for allowing this all to happen, for not understand what was going on with the K-pop folks (this was all reported in the media prior to the event) and for spinning a successful event into a failure.
