Single parent homes living in poverty where many times the “parent” is too young or too addicted to actually raise a kid right.

Piss poor public education can’t overcome the overwhelming number of unguided kids who have come to idolize the wealth their local street dealer attained.

Kids angry at the cards life dealt them, see dealing/gangs as their only means to lift themselves out of poverty.
