So protest when it’s good for me and not for you. Do it when we say, not when you want....in the words of your DEAR LEADER...SAD!

Then boo the crap out of the kneelers!
literally every member of these teams will be kneeling. bank on it. probably should just accept it and move on.
do many people not realize that NFL teams were not even on the field for the anthem before 2009? they were in the locker rooms until the nfl decided to make some virtuous money doing salute to service month

Imagine actually getting mad, much less fighting with someone, over what they do during the anthem. Will someone catch hands if they fail to take their hat off also?

You gonna go into the pisser and fight anyone who's holding their dick during the anthem too?

Since we want to get political here, I'll ask the question. How should the players that want to support the protests against police brutality do so? People bitch when they take to the street and protest because it may cause you some inconvenience (the rioters are not part of this movement, but are taking advantage of it). They choose to drop to a knee and still acknowledge the flag, people bitch.
How are they suppose to voice their displeasure in a way that will give them the attention they feel they need? These players have a stage where eyes are on them, and they want to take a theoretical stance. Their bosses (commissioner, owners, coaches) are not telling them they cannot do this; therefore, they are not violating their employment contract.

March, protest, write and meet with leaders around the country, do interviews and shows. Get involved in communities, cities and state government. Form and/or join organizations that are similar in beliefs, become a artist, instigator or out right agitator. Paint murals, graffiti, posters and such to message. Create or join websites. Form alliances and partnerships with for profit and non profit orgs to affect change. Donate your time and resources to make a difference in the world.
Or skip all that work and take a knee while on the job during the National anthem like a myopic child.

These white men will find a way to hate them no matter what they do. The idea of us having anything is foreign.

And what's your.... Opinion...? That cops should beat black people to death? No opinion is wrong? What if it was everyone's opinion that beating you to death would be okay? Then would they be wrong?

These are all great examples. And, these are also all examples of things a lot of these athletes already do. Yet, they feel that what they are doing is not making enough of a difference. The statistics show there is improvement, but the debate is whether the improvement is enough.

They are doing all of those things and still "taking a knee on the job". By the way, that job has given them the approval to take a knee.

And these guys on here will rant about working your arse off to get a great job then whine when people with good jobs have the ability that they don't. It's great, wholesome fun to watch them tie themselves around a tree.

Was just answering your question. And that job has that very right to make just such a policy which is the way it should be. Let the chips fall where they may. I don't like the politics in any sport for the most part and would prefer the players to stay in the locker room to avoid a political show but the owners will do what they think best in the end. The world won't end regardless.
As to flag burning I believe it's your right to do so as long as where and when you burn is legal. Walking down a street or in a city probably not legal so pay the price.

It's crazy when you realize this is what the players did just a little over a decade ago until the league decided to start supporting the military by letting the military pay them to advertise. As part of that advertisement, they needed the players to come out and stand for the flag. Chances are, the only reason the league & owners are allowing this now, is they were able to work out an agreement with the military to revise the contracts.
