Everyone likes to shite on the guy, but he's obviously put in the work and figured shite out.

He hit a couple drives over 350 today and leads the Tour with a 321 yard average driving distance

He is averaging 1.44 strokes gained driving per round over his last six tournaments. If he keeps it up, that would be the second-best driving performance in history since the Tour starting tracking SG. He was out-driving DJ by more than 40 fricking yards today. That is, unbelievably, historically great driving. He is a quirky, weird MFer sometimes, but he has figured something out with this.

I tend to think this is an NFL-style, play-great-and-make-a-frick-load-of-money-until-your-body-gives-out-at-age-31 type of thing, but I am becoming a believer. The only real debate to get to that level of MPH will be if a player wants a Cameron Champ style of body and swing or a DeChambeau style of body and swing because that level of speed will be the benchmark in 5 to 10 years.

I agree - he’s going to get hurt if he keeps at this pace. But he’s definitely going to win some big tournaments in the next few years. Dude is incredibly talented.
