Yes, about $35-$40k difference. You can have 2x the FS23 so really they are not the same length. 46' > 23'

All joking aside, I hope being associated with NS bloodline will make Avid successful. I know not all are fans of NS but they were one of the better mid-major brands in out area. Hopefully these will do better than Excel. Competition is always good. Im sure though, there will be someone taking an aluminum 12 deg deadrise hull out way beyond the speed and chop its meant for, and you will have a bunch of internet forum complaints of broken welds. I hope Avid has all of their warranty ducks in a row.
