What does that have to do with treating a clearly bad individual like a martyr? Martyrs are GOOD people who sacrifice for GOOD ideals.

George Floyd was neither of those things.

The officer should be dealt with according to law, but to suggest this man is some sort of saint is disgusting.

No, martyrs are people who are killed for their beliefs. Whether any martyr is "GOOD" is a matter of perspective--whether you agree with the beliefs they were killed for.

George Floyd was not a martyr, by definition, and no one is suggesting he is a "saint". He was a guy who was needlessly killed, but not for his beliefs. Whether he was "GOOD" or not misses the point.

No one is justifying the actions taken by Chauvin, but it’s kind of sad that the poster children for the BLM movement seem to always have lengthy rap sheets, that are ignored by the media and celebrities, while the mourners and Democrats try to have streets and holidays named after them.
