I’ve said time and time again, you never apologize and never show an ounce of weakness to these frickers.
It’s like blood in the water to sharks. No apology will ever be good enough. It only encourages them more.
Smack them in the nose, tell them to frick off and go about your day. They’ll lose interest and find a new target that will kowtow to their demands.

They are essentially toddlers throwing a fit. You can't reason with them and giving them what they want is positive reinforcement.
