You didn't mention race in your post and therefore I know you don't understand why there are problems and why this country is already a failed state.
This country is doomed because of demographics. The sooner everyone accepts realities that multi ethnic societies don't work the better we can achieve a peace.

I know that minorities have been given more government assistance and program to get ahead than whites. Welfare, foodstamps, federal housing, HBCU's, medicaid, crazy checks, educational grants and loans, farm loans, home purchasing loans, etc. The list goes on and on.
Minorities have been given many opportunities to pull themselves up in society, and it still isn't and never will be enough. They still want the 40 acres and a mule, plus everything else.
