Everyone gets boat fever in May leading up to Memorial Day, this year it was just especially bad because boating was one of the few recreational activities that was actually made easier with covid. The oil field and small businesses are hurting, but a lot of people have more money in their pocket than they’re used to because they haven’t been spending as much while shut in, and the stimulus provided a lot of down payments.

The time to watch will be after Labor Day. A good many of these purchases were impulse buys and as hunting season approaches people shift gears. As things get back to normal should be a few folks looking to unload the boat that they didn’t use as much as they thought they would, is a pain paying for every month now that the wife is back to getting Starbucks on the way to work every morning, and selling it would pay for a new side by side to haul corn in.

That's the plan. I just thought it was really surprising. I also saw that one of our local auto dealerships had their best month in the last two years. People must order a shite load of Starbucks
