It is a beautiful park. Very humbling. I stood at the hornets nest for a long time trying to imagine the sheer amount of lead being fired in both directions. Somber, humbling place.

I’ve heard it is very nice and comparable to Chickamauga. I was very saddened to see Vicksburg was a tourist trap and glorified the victory of the barbarian Grant.
