Should I be watching Dark Knight, or is it imperative to watch Batman Begins first to get what goes on in this new movie?

No, I doubt you need to see it. But, you need to watch it anyways. It was an awesome movie and probably one of my favorite in the last 5-6 years. Highly recommend it.

Nah not really. Maybe to establish some of the themes that started in BB, but you won't be lost or anything

I would....you'll get to know the characters more. Plus its just a good movie.
And the ending with the joker card got me hyped for the dark knight
