Like them or not, Ole Miss is a major SEC necessity. Culturally speaking. The history, the colors and their real mascot. It’s what the SEC is. Let’s compare A&M. Yes they are annoying and have some strange traditions that we all mock. But if SJWs tried to change all of that, you’re dang right I’d be defending them the same way I defend the rebels. This is the SEC. we are all built on tradition. Rivalries are rivalries. Leave that mess on the field.

Oh yeah, you forget that we are LSU? Everyone hates us. Especially now. You think it’s bad in Mississippi? Oklahoma, Alabama, Florida and Georgia are all full of tiger haters. They hate a winner.

Living in MS, I grew up with a lot of Ole Miss fans who really didn't seem like fans, unless they somehow beat LSU. Then, they would kinda just drop by to say hi randomly. Once the 2000's came, the fandom really started to disappear. Later, I saw more than one of them out in the past 10 years wearing Alabama clothes, bumper stickers, and even flags on their car. I had an awkward conversation with one in particular. I asked when he became a bama fan, and he turned completely red and stuttered something about being born near uncles who lived in Alabama, or something ridiculous like that. I laughed and said good look buying new clothes when the next flavor of the week gives LSU a challenge.

On a different note, State fans are nothing like that.
