How can he afford Palm whatever? Hadn't he gambled away, lawyer paymented away, partied away whatever big money he got? The subsequent jobs weren't high paying and didn't most end with things happened that caused lawyer bills for him to pay?
If the sportscasting gig was his new last best hope, how in the H could he chose a mate who could be the sort to endanger the family income?
