When a fricking la gov situation happens because Collins and Loeffler can’t play nice everyone is going to be pissed.

It’s one of the biggest issues on the right is the candidates and their supporters hold nasty grudges. Bored housewives in the suburbs up here are not going to beat out enough votes to beat atl/Savannah. The country boys aren’t going to vote Loeffler no matter how much trump begs.

Ga and national GOP would be smart to step in.

Deal would be perfect but I doubt he will come in and Collins and Loeffler have probably already pushed this too far.

Problem is she doesn’t need money thanks to marrying into it and then insider trading moves. Collins could probably be bought off Bernie style but not to support her.

Isakson deserves some of the blame here as well for deciding he should continue to hold out until the bitter end when he clearly wasn’t capable of doing his duty.

I've looked into the timelines and facts of Loeffler's stock situation and I came away with the conclusion that it's nowhere near enough for her to be concerned about legal jeopardy.

The reason why Richard Burr is in deep shite is because he personally handled the stock transactions himself like a real idiot.

The other senators have multiple layers of protection between them and their stock portfolios.

The problem for Loeffler is that she's an awkward millionaire that did not handle it well and the timing of the story came at the worst possible time for her with a pandemic where people are losing their jobs and she's a brand new senator and people don't know her.

There's something to be said about Doug Collins jumping into the race three weeks after Kemp appoints Loeffler.

It came off as sour grapes and he instantly made the race much more competitive than it needed to be.
