I think I'll try to break them down into categories for what they brought to the table as far as television as a whole and not so much for which are the best shows.
Hill Street Blues- Basically gave us the foundation for the modern legal drama. Without HSB there is no Law and Order
Beverly Hills, 90210- First show to really focus teenagers instead of them just being side characters and subplots for the show as a whole. Set up the teen drama genre.
City Hospital- the medical drama's grandaddy.
The Twilight Zone- Paved the way for the science fiction drama.
