Double check what is all opened at the Grand Canyon right before you leave for your trip. Right now they only allow people in at the South Rim entrance only from 6-10 am and there are no places there to stay overnight and you have to bring in your own food, water, and supplies.
Nothing else is currently open at the rim (Grand Canyon Village shops, restaurants, hiking trails, etc).
