I get those numbers are likely inflated, but if 30% aren't really related to Wu Flu, it is at least on par with the normal flu, right?
the "standford study" had multiple methodology issues described many times on this board
covid19 mortality won't be >1% but it will end up being worse than seasonal flu.
problem is you cant argue this without mouth-breathers screeching "WORTH SHUTTING THE ECONOMY DOWN???"
its possible to simultaneously hold the opinions this is worse than the flu and we shouldn't have shut everything down and especially not for this long

Not if your a chicken little and think the seasonal flu is the benchmark for shutting things down.

One of those things is absolutely true and the other is almost certainly true.

This is a different "Stanford study," is it not?
Also, wasn't that original one adjusted and published after peer review?
I think the Santa Clara study was the truly bad one.

It’s amazing that so many here think they have to prove this virus is the flu in order to justify opening everything up.
It’s worse than the flu, and we should have already opened the economy. That’s not a contradiction.

We will never know the real numbers. Once this became a political issue, the facts became secondary to the narrative. You also cant tie massive amounts of funding to recorded cases/deaths and then expect to get the real numbers.
No one trusts these numbers except very scared and gullible people.
