They may not have. A lot of these teams when traveling, all stay at the same hotels, so I would guess a local pizza place would know which hotel that is. They get a call late at night from that hotel during the Finals, they think it's someone with the Bulls so why not tag along to possibly catch a glimpse of Jordan?

I agree, as much as all the speculators and conspiracy theorists want there to be a conspiracy with all this shite, it’s probably and most likely the most perfect storm of a coincidence in history, doesn’t help that Jordan likes to party some the night before games too
