That gun is making me start to change my mind about PCP. But I really love my Sig.

Another one I liked was the Umarex Gauntlet. With coupon the 177 can be had for about the same price. Regulated and can be tuned to be more powerful than the Fortitude. But it's way too heavy for my son to shoot and I was tuning for low FPE so I wouldn't have to pump as much. ATI's gun looked awesome as well. I read you can call up and request a "parts gun" for $100. They will send you a no warranty rifle you can fix youself.

If I had known 3 year ago you could but a cheap $39 chinese HPA pump that's nicer than this Benjamin pump I wouldn't have bought it but at that time $150+ hand pumps were the norm.

One thing for the Benjamin over some other options is that you can always rely on Crosman to be top notch for spare parts support in the US. Some of the Chinese PCPs i've been looking at the parts support leaves a lot to be desired. Lots of threads of people fabricating their own parts to fix their rifles.

Not having to cock a spring. Totally worth it. No wonder they are so addicting even with hand pumping.

Comb is criminally short. I'm not even sure it was tall enough if the rifle had irons. Half of a $6 chunk of Kydex, a couple of minutes with a razor, belt sander, and heat gun, and a couple of bucks of screws fix the problem.
