Unlike recent Madden games, man coverage is OP. The recovery speed and ability to close gaps in man coverage by the computer is insane. It's very frustrating, especially if you get a fast guy open and a linebacker catches up and picks it.

but your team can't be that "good". that's the frustrating part.

This. In my like 30 year dynasty I’ve had numerous corners end a season with 15+ picks. I think the most I’ve had in a game is like 9 lmao.
Sometimes I can do that over and over again and sometimes the AI shreds me.
To make it enjoyable you have to lay off the cheese plays some on both sides of the ba, but the AI never does. Especially with a scrambling QB, so at some point you do have to implement spy’s and what not.
My biggest pet peeve in the game is the AI will snap the back 2-3 times a game and immediately throw it 40 yards out of bounds and there’s no intentional grounding flag
