Don't want to hijack, but I was about to make a similar thread. Any ideas which "indoor" tv's work best outdoor? I have an RCA that has lasted about 9 years. I put a TCL out last year and it was all fricked up after two months.

It shouldn't matter too much as long as water doesn't drip onto the TV.
I have some brand I had never heard of before and its done well for 2 years, even with the occasional mist blown on it.
Was the TCL a smart tv? I figure those may not hold up as well with the additional chips?

I've had a Roku TCL outside for about 6 months, working perfectly. If you had problems after 2 months, it should still be under warranty. Have you checked with the vendor?

I had an rca that last 5 years on my patio before lcd panels started going out. Bought a TCL 55 to replace it. Been up for about a year or so
