I read Florida was floating a 50% capacity for the parks. This is not a big deal since the parks operate near or below 50% of capacity for the majority of the year. It is rare the parks reach capacity.

I think the bigger deal is the reduced experience. Social distancing (I hate that term) characters, no fireworks, no parades, possibly no shows. Adding masks to the equation will just make things worse. Now virtual lines for everything would be great and they should do that anyway.

I think Universal provides a better experience even though their characters are not as iconic as the Disney portfolio. The Character experiences at Universal you are slammed with characters, my son barely had time to eat with all the time he spent with characters. There are also more characters in the street and shorter to non existent lines. The Harry Potter portion of the park is excellent, had good, healthy food that is affordable. The rides at universal are as a whole heads and shoulders above the Disney rides. Disney has some gems, but Universal has good ride after good ride. Also, the kids area is amazing. My son when he was 5 could spend an entire day in the Dr.Seuss section of the park. I do want to go to Disney again for the Star Wars stuff, but I would plan 1-2 days at Disney and the rest of the week at Universal. I could care less to see Epcot and Animal Kingdom again.
