I don't see this being a huge burden on anyone.
The post I replied to said that people would be called and told to self quarantine. That is much different than simply knowing you might have come into contact with someone with covid-19.
Also, I pretty much assume I might have come into contact with someone who has it every single time I leave my home. I imagine anyone choosing to eat in a restaurant feels the same.
