I played on a Friday last year. Walked off 18 and the bar was packed with people. They had a guy playing music. Grabbed a beer and sat on the patio and they had guys coming in and out playing an extra 9 or grabbing a beer after 18. Since you're single, seems like a great place to go and hang.
I'm leaving golf out, just talking atmosphere.
Money no object, UClub is where is join if I was trying to get better. Great facilities and a ton of really good golfers. Course is very hard so your game has to get better.

Only course I haven't played is Links at Pelican. I'm going for a tour Friday but the weather doesn't look like I'll be able to get a round there anytime soon.
