Boat accessory advice

I’m buying a 18 foot metal boat to mainly fish bass/crappie fish on a local lake. I’m going pretty cheap on the boat with the idea of going heavy on the accessories. I bought the minn Kota precision point trolling motor, but I need recommendations for my screens up front. I’ve see people have two massive screens by the trolling motor and I’ve also heard about the garmin live scope. Any reccs appreciated.

Use ratchet straps to attach two iPads to the front on the hull and then bungee cord a GoPro to the trolling motor shaft and you should be good to go. Go with steel for your metal boat, you can’t be too careful.

Don't laugh mister, lease mate broke the handle on his pro drive. They used a ratchet strap and paddle to fashion a handle on top of the motor and ran it all second split like that. Lease mate could tear up a ball bearing with a rubber mallet.

I like a smaller affordable unit up front since its usually only sonar and sometimes contour maps for deepwater bass fishing. Side scan on the console, go for the bigger unit here for better clarity and ability to split screen or see for a nice 100' wide scan. I have a 9" and it works good. If money isnt an object love scope up front or a second screen for contour maps/topos.
Hummingbird seems to be the better technology to me but its marginal. I do notice that it come with mapping software standard and its a upgrade for my lowerance ti.
