Its pretty crazy.

I think you have to put current players on this list as if they retired today. If AD never played another minute, would you put him as the 45 greatest player of all time?

No, I seriously doubt it.

They don't, their player summary leads with:

"Davis, 27, makes this list off the promise of what's to come..."

Even today, Nique was at 46. Davis has a better stat line, and even at just 26, 7 ASG appearances to Nique's 9. He's not that far off from the guys right around him even if he retired today.

AD will 100% move higher than 45 by the end of his career, but at the same time, I don't have much issue with him being ranked where he is based on his body of work thus far.

The one player I'm keeping an eye out for is Kyrie. I hope not, but I have a feeling they will place him in the list for top 40. He came in a year before AD, yet he is definitely not the same level a player as him.
