As has been pointed out countless times, most red states are net tax consumers and most blue states are net tax providers. The hate for California,one of the country's economic engines, is both ignorant and comical.

Blue areas of red states are moreso welfare consumers outside of West Virginia.

Now if you're talking about federal dollars going to something like military bases, NASA, or federal agencies, sure I can agree with that.

This has more to do with the type of people that live in those states than the governments running them. It's a pretty dishonest post.

Look at the populations of the south/southeast compared to the west and you'll get your answer.
