re: most memorable moment at the movies

It’s The Dark Knight. Went to opening night with two of my buddies and the girl I’d end up marrying years later the Summer before we all went off to college. Kissed her for the first time that night after the movie.

Very close second is the first Avengers movie, saw the premiere with my dad and brother with whom I share a love for comics and sci fi. Saw it the night before I graduated college and I’ll never forget the feeling of joy in that theatre and the look of pride on my dads face getting to see his childhood heroes come to life with his two boys who were all grown up but glued to those theatre seats like we were 5 years old again.

Movies at their best are fricking magic.
