You're not wrong, but in the absence of serious criminal consequences for the involved conspirators
Everything will remain status quo.
The country will reopen, people will go back to work, get to go to bars and restaurants and all will be forgotten. Especially that it will be the Republican leaders that help push it all under the rug with the rest of the Washington corruption BS.
And the Sheeple will be content to have their meesely lives back to some type of normal.
People are stupid and you can't change that.
