So nix the hogs and keep the chickens and raise some rabbits. That, plus going to hunt bigger game whenever you need to stock up, or fishing if you had access. I think it could be done between 4 people pitching in.

You don't want Hogs on your property sir. They will frick up every bit of land you got. My uncle made the mistake and paid dearly for it. Destroyed his stocked pond, rutted up almost 5 acres and my god do they fricking multiply. He started out with less than 20 and when I came back from College he was 200+ easy
