Hell, the native deer population in the southeast isn't white tail, it was another deer that was hunted to extinction and that's when population density was .01% of what it is now.

Maybe so. Hard to say what the world would look like 24 months after entering this hypothetical world we are discussing. I imagine most animals we eat would be in bad shape if we enter this scenario.

What? The white-tailed deer (in one form or another) has existed in the southeast since the Pleistocene.

no. The number of people capable of hunting for food in this country is infinitesimal compared to the overall population.
