re: Anyone raise ducks as pets?

The original mallard flew off mid summer and these 3 stayed around until October/November.

We only ate the eggs, not the ducks. Since it was approaching winter, those would not have hatched. She kept laying them around the yard every night, I’d walk out and find an egg in the middle of the yard every morning.
