Yes, it is called a band but that is just gonna make it a target for some dipshite kid in ur hood to kill it with a BB gun so he can put it on his duck call lanyard. If you do band it, get a band that is colored so it doesn't look like a band the Feds would put on a wild duck.
Don't worry, once that duck starts getting wing feathers, it will start getting out more. The problem is gonna be that it is tame and will have no fear of humans.

If it stays within the lake area, he may be alright. It's a huge neighborhood and no one hunts the ducks here; unless they are shooting them with BB or pellet guns.
