You get an RX from the Dr. and it is some of the most foul tasting crap to drink, and you have to follow that with a LOT of water. DO NOT be far from a toilet after drinking that stuff or you will shite yourself.
I had to do one dose of that stuff around 4 pm the day before the procedure and again at 3 a.m. You will not believe how much you can empty out of your bowels with that laxative.
There are many different types of prep, but they pretty much do the same thing.
ETA: My appointment time to be at the clinic was 6:30 a.m.
