It will be like any outdoor anything right now, full of people. It's not officially "open" that I know of but you can go.

Tunica or Clark Creek? Clark Creek is where most people mean when they say Tunica.

As of this morning Clark Creek (what you think of as Tunica Falls) is closed. Tunica WMA which has 3 hiking trails, is open. Not quite the same as the falls hike but if you are trying to get outdoors check out the WMA. You need a hunting license or Wild Louisiana Stamp to hike out there though -- but can get that online.

Just to respond to the comment about people still going to the falls. People have been doing that and every one of them has been written a trespassing ticket. They have it fenced off but something like 30 people decided to park there anyways and jump the fence this weekend. Wouldn't chance it.

Public domain should never be fenced off.

Ridiculous power play from the feds.

Appreciate the feedback everyone. I knew every time I tried to find this place on a map it was more difficult than I expected but couldn't remember why. The Clark Creek path is indeed the one that I was referring to. I was finally able to get in touch with someone who confirmed that they are closed "until further notice".

Off to Port Hudson.
