I have several recorded on Cassette tapes. I believe the oldest is the 69 Ole Miss game. I drag one out every now and then and listen to the "Golden Voice" of Fighting Tiger football...John Ferguson!
With a filled Tiger Stadium (only 63,000!!) it was amazing how loud it was.

I'll bet the 63,000 in the stadium back then would put to shame the 100k+ at a modern game.

the 69 Ole Miss game was in Jackson - the 68 Ole Miss game was my first LSU game to ever see in person and Tiger Stadium held 67.500 back then. I would love to get a copy of the USC at LSU 79 radio broadcast and would gladly pay. There are places that can make CD copies from cassettes.
